Fins Out Media ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use GPX Fixer (the "App").
The short version: GPX Fixer does not require an account or location permission. GPX files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to a server through the App.
1. Information We Collect
GPX Fixer does not currently collect personal information or user data through the App.
You are not required to create an account or provide information such as your:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Physical address
- Precise location
- Contacts
- Photos or camera data
2. GPX Files and Local Processing
GPX files you open in GPX Fixer are processed on your device. The App does not upload your GPX files to a Fins Out Media server for parsing, previewing, repair, editing, conversion, or export.
GPX files may contain route, track, waypoint, elevation, timestamp, and other location-related information. You control which files you open, edit, save, export, or share.
3. Location Permission
GPX Fixer does not require your device's location permission. The App works with route files you choose to open.
4. Accounts
GPX Fixer does not require or provide user accounts. You do not need to register, sign in, or create a profile to use the App.
5. Analytics and Tracking
GPX Fixer does not currently use third-party analytics services or advertising tracking technologies.
We may introduce privacy-conscious analytics or crash-reporting tools in a future version of the App to help us understand technical problems and improve reliability. If those services result in additional data collection, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those practices.
6. Advertising
GPX Fixer does not contain third-party advertising, and we do not sell your information to advertisers.
7. In-App Purchases
GPX Fixer may offer a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks Premium features, including unlimited edits and exports.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Fins Out Media does not directly receive or store your complete payment card or banking information. Apple's handling of payment and purchase information is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
8. Export and Sharing
GPX Fixer may allow you to export GPX, KML, or CSV files or share files through services available on your device.
If you choose to save, export, copy, or share information using features provided by your device, your use of those services is controlled by you and may be subject to the privacy practices of the service or recipient you select.
9. Children's Privacy
GPX Fixer is a general-purpose utility and is not directed toward children for the purpose of collecting personal information. Because GPX Fixer does not currently collect personal information through the App, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through GPX Fixer.
10. Data Security
Because GPX files remain local to your device unless you choose to export or share them, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, your files, and any device backups.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as GPX Fixer evolves, including if we add services such as analytics, crash reporting, cloud storage, or other functionality that changes how information is handled.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
